Bought this for a little league concession stand. Tried at home first and worked very well. Oil gets very hot and fries come out very well. Fries are the only thng I cooked but I would bet anything fried would turn out good. I think its a little large for home use unless you have a big family. Easy clean up and pack away.

After reading all the reviews for different fryers, I picked the Presto 5466 SS-Dual Basket Deep Fryer. It meets of exceeds all my expectations with frying battered items and non-battered items. We try to limit our fried foods intake, but when we do want fried food, this appliance works great.

The outer stainless steel covering is a little thin and flimsy but the performance of this fryer is great.

I didn't know much about what he wanted other than that it had a basket in it (like at McDonalds) So I found this and got it for him, and we have enjoyed many meals already!! Fried okra, fish, hush puppies, pork chops and even homed corn dogs. The kids are loving it too. Love this product, so far!!
